Out of the 336 million menstruating women in the country, only 121 million have access to sanitary pads. Even then, the amount of waste produced amounts up to 12.3 billion sanitary pads per year. This leads to increased marine pollution. In such conditions, Team Ritva strives to make biodegradable sanitary pads available to the women in the country. Access to such pads will not only mean less waste, but also less diseases among women. We aim to raise awareness about menstrual hygiene among women in rural areas, and stressing on the health risks of not maintaining proper menstrual hygiene.

We’re offering classes and courses at beginner and advanced levels, as well as special limited edition sessions of prenatal yoga, children’s yoga, meditation, and mindfulness.

Menstruation is not a women’s issue, it’s a human issue.
